Position Overview:

Elliotts Drainage Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team based out of our head office in Stevenage. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a range of drainage services including CCTV Surveys, Patch Lining, Tanker Services, Drain Unblocking, and Drain Repairs. This role requires an individual who is self-motivated, capable of working alone and in a team, has worked on both commercial and residential drainage systems and possesses a full driver's license.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting CCTV Surveys to assess the condition and integrity of drainage systems
  • Performing Patch Lining to repair damaged sections of drains 
  • Operating Tankers to remove waste and debris from drainage systems
  • Utilising high pressure jetting equipment to unblock drains and restore proper flow
  • Carrying out Drain Repairs as necessary, including excavation and replacement of damaged sections
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed, including detailed reports and documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues or concerns promptly
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience working as a Drainage Engineer or in a similar role is essential
  • Proficiency in conducting CCTV Surveys and interpreting survey data
  • Hands-on experience with Patch Lining techniques and equipment
  • Familiarity with operating Tanker Services and drain unblocking machinery
  • Ability to perform drain repairs and pipe replacement
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Full driver's license required
  • Health and Safety certifications or training preferred
