23rd & 34th November 2022, ExCel London
Some great names have signed up for the 2022 show, including: Rioned, Bucher Municipal, Jetchem, RSM Lining, FM Conway, DCR, IMS Robotics, JFC Civils, Softwash Systems, SDS Pumps, SPP Pumps, Marsh Industries, HMGWater Solutions, Naylor Drainage, Reinert Ritz and many others.
The Drainage Theatre is covering all kinds of subjects, including: Stormwater & Combined Sewer Overflows, Panel Session on Expanding your Drainage Business, Sewage Treatment Systems, and Interceptor Maintenance, Introduction of Apprenticeships in the Drainage Industry and much more. There is a two day SuDS Theatre full of presentations and panel discussions and a day or presentations from the Environment Agency.
The support continues to grow as more partners have been added and we are delighted to welcome Water Magazine as part of that support. We are delighted to welcome CABWI to the show, CABWI specialise in vocational qualifications for the water and utilities industries. These include Street Works Qualifications in Excavation and Reinstatement in the Highway and regulated vocational qualifications.
Other support comes from: Pipeline Industries Guild, UKSTT, National Sewage Assoc, CIRIA and, of course, Drain Trader magazine.
Jon Irwin, Event Director at IME said, “having got the show up and running in a very difficult year for all events, we are delighted with the progress and we are certain the show will go on to greater things.” He went on to say, “we want this to be an annual focal point for the industry, where buyers and sellers can meet, industry can network and the event serve as an immersive, learning opportunity via CPD seminars and fellow professionals.”
Entry to the show and CPD accredited seminars is free and there will be a special networking opportunity for NADC members, exhibitors and VIPs, with special guest, Frank Bruno MBE at a drinks reception at the end of the first day.
It is hoped the whole industry will use the National Drainage Show as a rare opportunity to meet like-minded professionals and network with peers, whilst the event showcases the available products, services and solutions from trusted companies within the industry, for anyone wanting to buy products, switch suppliers and catch up with current suppliers who are exhibiting.
Another great move is an arrangement agreed with Homes UK. As the shows are open the same dates and there is an overlap in visitor profiles, we have agreed with the organizers of Homes UK, to jointly promote visits to both events, whilst people are on site. Homes UK visitor profile includes thousands of housing professionals from housing associations, local authorities, housebuilders and the built environment, many of whom would have an interest in proper drain installation and maintenance.
