The COVID-19 pandemic has a massive impact—also on the global Trenchless and underground Infrastructure industry

A safe and successful No-Dig Live 2020 for all concerned—that is my primary concern. Due to the still unforeseeable circumstances, this objective is unfortunately no longer feasible.

No Dig Live was due to be held on 15 – 17th September 2020 at the East of England Arena & Events Centre. The new dates will now be 23-25 March 2021.

The decision has been taken to ensure a duty of care to everyone involved in the show, including staff, exhibitors, visitors and suppliers. The support from exhibitors has been phenomenal and the 2020 No-Dig Live was due to be the biggest yet. However ensuring the safety of everyone involved is my number one priority and of course delivering a high quality visitor level. I believe holding No-Dig Live in March will meet all priorities including exhibitor and visitor expectation and provide the springboard to the Trenchless and underground infrastructure sector.

The UKSTT Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony will again be part of the No-Dig Live extravaganza and will take place on the 24th March 2021. Everyone at UKSTT agree with Westrade’s philosophy that the safety of everyone attending the event is paramount and are already looking forward to a March event. A change in date also means more time to get award entries in to make for a spectacular evening!

You will all be aware of the recent launch of Westrade digital. In order to sustain the sense of community created by the biennial No-Dig Live event, the website has been developed as the voice of the trenchless community, bringing news, opinion and information from across the UK and international trenchless technology sector. Send us any news, opinion and video content and keep the trenchless community updated. Perhaps send us a preview of what you plan to exhibit and give the visitors a sneak preview.

We look forward to seeing you again in March 2021 for what promises to be the biggest ever No-Dig Live. Above all and despite these eventful times, we wish you all the best both personally and professionally. We will keep you up to date on our website and on our social media channels.

With kind regards,
Paul Harwood
