Rioned is excited to be exhibiting at this month’s National Drainage show at London’s ExCeL exhibition centre from 23-24 November. Alongside demonstrating some of its most popular van-pack and jet/vac combination units, the equipment manufacturer will introduce a new range of products to the UK market following successful launches across Europe.

The event will formally mark the UK launch of Rioned’s next-generation eControl Touch machine management system. Now shipping as standard with the common-rail diesel CityJet van-pack, the new system offers operators unrivalled machine monitoring and diagnostics via a range of intelligent sensors built into the machine.

Simply operated using the 7” LCD touchscreen and jog wheel, the eControl Touch relays real-time readings of operating conditions such as RPMs, pressure, flow, and fuel and water, along with critical component diagnostics and alerts.

The new system includes a range of enhanced features, such as the RioMeter, to provide highly accurate measurements of the amount of hose that has travelled along a pipe.

Rioned’s new RioMote remote control system integrates directly with the eControl Touch, displaying essential system information on the handset’s LED screen.

The latest iteration of Rioned’s 7.5t RioCom jet/vac combination unit will also be on display at the event. Built on a facelifted Euro-6, turbo-charged Mitsubishi Fuso Canter chassis, the multipurpose RioCom offers performance comparable to larger tankers and now features an improved all-round LED lighting system, reversing camera and 3000w inverter as standard.

The exhibition also offers the opportunity for Rioned to showcase two of its increasingly popular products.

The growth in Low Emissions Zones (LEZ) across Europe, coupled with rising fuel costs, means the all-electric eCityJet has become a viable alternative for contractors. Powered by six efficient 5kWh Li-ion batteries, the jetter offers all the features and performance of a conventional diesel-driven machine with zero emissions.

As the UK ramps up its programme to replace existing networks with fibre-optic cabling, Rioned’s CityJet Duct Desilting jetter has proved a popular choice for telecommunications contractors. Delivering an industry-standard 3600psi @13gpm performance, the specially modified machine is equipped with a RioPulse pulsator or jump jet system and is capable of clearing cable runs up to 300m.

Visit Rioned’s stands at C80 and C84 on 23-24 November.
